I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Murphy for any case where the input of an extremely experienced forensic psychiatrist is required. Dr Murphy was recently instructed in a high- profile complex murder case which required an opinion as to fitness to plead, fitness to stand trial and the consideration of a number of potential defences.
